SymboCor brings extensive experience in managing multi-specialty outpatient clinics and hospital inpatient services nationwide. In 2023, we expanded our services to include correctional healthcare, now providing medical care to two jails in Jefferson County, Alabama. The Birmingham facility houses approximately 900 inmates, while the Bessemer facility accommodates another 250.

We provide Primary, Episodic, and Emergency Care, including acute care for immediate medical needs and treatment for minor lacerations. Our Mental Health Services address psychological well-being, while our Dental Care ensures oral health. We offer Substance Abuse Treatment through alcohol and drug detoxification programs, and Chronic Disease Management for ongoing conditions, including Infectious Disease Management. Specialty Programs include advanced HEART care with Troponin testing, Onsite Dialysis, and Inmate Re-entry programs, alongside special community initiatives like the Department of Health NARCAN distribution and opioid test kits. Additionally, we emphasize Medication Management and Health Education to empower patients in maintaining their health.

minimizing time spent in inmate housing areas.
Behavioral & Mental Health
Comprehensive psychiatric care addresses both acute and chronic conditions, including
on-site support for opioid and alcohol withdrawal and suicide prevention. Services
include MAT, Narcan access, counseling, and diligent monitoring for medication
diversion. An on-site psychiatrist, mental health professionals, and collaborative care
with local providers ensure continuity of care post-release.
Medication Assisted Treatment:
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programing for opioid and alcohol dependency
